Divorce Mediation versus Litigation in One Easy to View Table

On Behalf of Taylor-Made Solutions, PLLC | Apr 30, 2020 | Firm News

It is obvious to me that divorce mediation is far better for people than litigation, but I realize that is because I have been an attorney for over 25 years, and I know what litigation really looks like. Many people who have never been involved in a lawsuit think you get your day in court to tell your story and then the judge issues a decision. That is just not how it works. First of all, most cases, more than 95%, settle, they do not go to trial, so you may never get in front of a judge! Beyond that, even if you do have a trial, the path to trial is long, stressful, adversarial and very expensive.

I have created a table to help you compare early mediation with litigation.

Please click for table.

And, of course, I would be happy to explain in further detail if you would like to call me, 248-579-9766.
